FinishMaster Debuts in Canada
September had FinishMaster team members looking up – north, that is!
On September 13, the FinishMaster brand was officially launched in Canada. Uni-Select Inc., leading distributor of automotive parts and paint and related products in Canada and parent company of FinishMaster, introduced FinishMaster Canada Inc., a subsidiary of the corporation. Less than a month later, on October 5, FinishMaster Canada, Inc. completed its first acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Guelph Paint and Bumper Supplies Inc. in Guelph, Ontario. In the coming weeks, this location will be rebranded.
In addition to acquisitions, FinishMaster Canada, Inc. will be opening new FinishMaster stores and converting some of its current corporate stores under the FinishMaster brand, starting with an initial deployment phase in Toronto and Ottawa. The three corporate stores in Ontario are currently in the rebranding process and are set for official unveiling later this fall.
The Canadian stores will be managed by the Automotive Canada team, supported by a strong national distribution network, and will utilize the same brand and format as FinishMaster stores in the U.S. They will offer Uni-Select’s complete line-up of well-known premium national brand paint and related products.
Leaders of both Uni-Select and FinishMaster, Inc. are excited about the opportunities for FinishMaster Canada, Inc.
