Our tech reps are in your shops training, troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and replacing equipment every day. When you have efficiency and productivity concerns, they work with painters and production managers to provide solutions in real-time.  FinishMaster tech reps are well-trained professionals who base their analysis on industry benchmarks, personal knowledge, and years of experience. Our goal is to help our clients’ shops run productively and efficiently. 

When a new customer decides to partner with us, our tech reps, along with manufacturer representatives, will install mixing equipment and spend the required time training painters and preppers on new products and procedures.
 
Beyond training and troubleshooting, our tech reps also perform shop audits to ensure equipment is properly maintained, and that the correct products are used in each shop.  Outside of product training, our team provides training for all shop personnel to keep them updated and in compliance with EPA rules and regulations. Our tech reps are problem solvers—they will help you resolve unexpected issues—but they are also teachers.
 
Our Technical Representatives are much more than painters with years of experience, they continuously attend manufacturer and industry training to stay up-to-date on new products and application techniques. They are trained on computer software and mixing equipment. Many of our tech reps are well versed in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); and they are equipped to help track usage, which helps shop owners monitor activity and implement/revise standard operating procedures as necessary.  Most importantly, our techs love what they do, and they take pride in doing it well.
