_x000D_ 3M technical service has tested and approves 3Mâ„¢ Flexible Parts Repair Adhesive (PN 05887, 55887) for use as a seam sealer.Always apply 3Mâ„¢ Flexible Parts Repair Adhesive (PN 05887, 55887) to properly prepared two part epoxy or urethane primer or e-coat (see paint company guide lines for application and dry time information) scuff the primer /e-coat with a 3Mâ„¢ Scotch-Briteâ„¢ pad (maroon) or sand with P400 then remove sanding dust and clean with a pre-cleaner prior to applying the sealer.
3Mâ„¢ Flexible Parts Repair Adhesive (PN 05887, 55887) may be directly top coated after scuffing with a 3Mâ„¢ Scotch-Briteâ„¢ pad (gray) or it may be sanded and/or primed for appearance purposes if required. Follow paint application time guidelines posted on the product label._x000D_
_x000D_ 3Mâ„¢ EZ Sand Flexible Parts Repair material offers an eight minute worktime and can be sanded with grade 180 abrasives in 15 minutes resulting in an excellent featheredge. The convenient self mixing feature of part number 35887 ensures proper product ratio each use.
